Google customers don’t need to worry about Spectre, Meltdown

Google has announced that its entire product line-up is safe from Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities. Customers using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), G Suite applications, Chrome and Chrome OS products are protected and do not need to take any action to be protected from the vulnerability.

Google Cloud is designed to enable updates without affecting users. However, customers who use their own operating systems with GCP services may need to apply additional updates to their images.
