Cisco Meraki introduces MS120 series switches

Cisco Meraki has announced their new MS120 series switches to expand their switch line to include new models designed for small office and home office customers. The MS120-8 Compact Switch and MS120 24/48 Port Switch offer the benefits of cloud networking to a greater range of customers across new price points.

The MS120-8 (pictured above) is a compact access switch designed for flexible and fast deployment. For the non-powered and PoE models, it doesn’t have a fan which enables completely silent operation as you work alongside the device on or near your desk.

On the other hand, the MS120-24 and MS120-48 are designed for various-sized networks for widespread deployment. The high capacity switch port allows it to cater to the growing number of IoT devices such as IP-connected phones, cameras, and security systems.
