RM25 million up for grabs for Chinese entrepreneurs
The Malaysian government has announced a fund of RM25 million that will be made available to young Chinese entrepreneurs in Malaysia through the E-Commerce Micro Credit scheme. The scheme’s main objective is to help young Chinese entrepreneurs get their business off the ground or transform it digitally.
Chinese entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 45 can apply up to RM30,000 through the scheme set up in collaboration with Malaysian Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Foundation (MCWEF)’s E-commerce division. An interest rate of 4% per annum is applicable across the board with repayments done through monthly instalments.
