Microsoft announces general availability of Azure Event Grid

Microsoft has announced the general availability of Azure Event Grid. The event routing service was introduced last year as a public preview.

With Event Grid, developers can easily connect virtually any service to another. For example, a file is uploaded to a storage service then pointed to another service for data processing.
