Google Classroom enhances productivity with new updated features
Google Classroom, the cohesive platform to manage student and teacher communication, has integrated new features that aims to boost productivity for both parties.
One of the improvements to Classroom includes new to-do widgets for both students and teachers to keep track of their respective tasks. The update also introduced the ability for educators to share class links on any communication platform for their students to join.
Teachers are also able to export grades from Gradebook to the Student Information System (SIS). Classes can be linked to the SIS to export grades and teachers can keep track of grades in one central location with this new feature. New languages will be supported in this new update, including an additional 10 Indian languages, bringing the total number of globally-supported languages in Classroom to be over 54.
Besides the new features added in Google Classroom, the update also sees a few changes to the platform including moving assignments from beta to general availability, and the ability to connect a Google Classroom account with Applied Digital Skills to import databases such as classes, student rosters and assigning lessons.
The new update for Google Classroom is available now to all G Suite editions.
