Google announces general availability of GPUs in Kubernetes Engine
Google have announced the general availability of GPUs as a service with Kubernetes Engine. Since its beta release earlier this year, GPUs in Google Kubernetes Engine has been the fastest growing feature.
One of the biggest benefit of using GPUs is its massive processing power which is perfect for enterprise machine learning. NVIDIA’s Tesla V100, P100 and K80 GPUs are the ones which are doing the heavy-lifting while catering to the different needs and budget of the user.
To monitor the GPUs in terms of workload and memory usage, users are able to access it on their GCP Console. It can also be visualised in Stackdriver.
