Differences between project management and work management

At first glance, project management and work management have similar meanings in which each requires planning and what sets them apart is the level and scope of work. According to a survey conducted by Mmoser Associates, out of 120 companies in Asia Pacific, 56% of respondents said they would prefer the flexibility of working remotely. The Covid-19 pandemic is a strong reason for this big shift in the way we work. That is why many companies are starting to embrace digital transformation to keep their businesses going. This digital transformation certainly involves a collaboration platform that makes it easy for employees to stay connected either to communicate or to do more measurable work planning.

Project management

Project management is a step taken to organise all the projects you are working on including setting when the project deadline should be and what agenda needs to be worked on. With the right platform, you can manage personal projects as well as projects with your team.

Initially, this project management platform or software was only devoted to the project head, so that he/she could coordinate, appoint and convey tasks to the team.
