6 easy ways to use Jamboard for business collaboration

You can work with your teams from across the world on other Jamboards or remotely use the smartphone or tablet companion app. Here are some tips and tricks to help you quickly level up and become a Jamboard pro.
1. Create polished text, shapes, & drawings

You can add polished text, shapes, and drawing into your Jam. Select Assistive drawing tools that highlight Google’s machine learning expertise to enhance your Jam. Choose the handwriting recognition tool , then write, print or cursive and Jamboard will transform your letters into typed text. Or, you can select the shape recognition tool and the AutoDraw tool to create a clean shape and polished drawing.
2. Add sticky notes
Enrich your team brainstorm ideas and organise information with different coloured sticky notes. Select the sticky note tool in the menu, then choose sticky note colour and type note. You can edit a sticky note by double-tapping on it.
3. Drop Drive content

You can easily access Google Drive from the Jamboard mobile app to insert Docs, Sheets, Slides or images (including GIFs) to your Jam. Launch the Jamboard app on an Android or iOS device and open a Jam. Then in the toolbar, choose Google Drive tool and select file to add it.
4. Search web content
Jamboard by Google allows you to search a webpage by inserting the associated URL. Tap Image Search and then you can add a portion of that webpage as an image directly in your Jam. You can select that portion either by using the stylus or by your finger-touch.
5. Frames and backgrounds

You can add additional frames with different backgrounds in your Jam. Tap the right arrow > at the top of the screen on the frame bar to add more frames.
To drop an item from one frame to another, long-press on the item you want to drop, until the item shows a thick green border around it, then drag the item to the right or left side of the screen.
On your Jam, you can also choose different backgrounds to enhance your team brainstorm ideas. Tap the frame bar , and then tap the overflow icon. Choose Background and select a background from the current frame. At the end of the Jam session, it can be downloaded as an image or a PDF.
6. Collaborating
Jam sessions can be shared in real-time with other team members. You can add users by entering email addresses into a Jam. This way, a cross-communication can be established between multiple conference rooms in different corporate offices at the same time. Besides, you can download the entire session in a PDF format or even as an image.
Google also supports the Jamboard software with Hangouts Meet. You can present your Jam to Hangouts Meet. Select on Tap to draw , and then tap on Tap to present the Jam icon . The Jamboard software gives you access to an always-accessible collaborative whiteboard you can share with your team.
