We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our ERP solutions team. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between market needs, customer requirements, and product development. You will play a key role in shaping the roadmap of our ERP offerings by understanding industry trends, gathering detailed requirements, and guiding product features from conception to launch.
Job Descriptions:
- Market & Competitive Research: Continuously analyze and research competing ERP and accounting products to identify trends, differentiators, and gaps in the market.
- Feature Definition: Create and maintain a detailed and prioritized list of functional product features and enhancements that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Business Analysis Support: Act as an impromptu business analyst when required, helping translate customer feedback, market data, and stakeholder input into actionable insights and specifications.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales teams and directly with customers to deeply understand project requirements, business processes, and pain points.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with development, QA, design, and other internal teams to ensure that product features are implemented effectively and meet quality standards.
- ERP Expertise: Leverage prior experience or understanding of ERP systems and accounting principles to contribute meaningfully to product direction and validation.
- Solution Experience: Bring hands-on experience in both vertical (industry-specific) and horizontal (cross-industry) ERP solutions to inform scalable and flexible product designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with specific ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in the ERP or enterprise software industry.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, with an emphasis on finance and accounting modules being a plus.
- Excellent research and analytical skills; ability to synthesize complex information into clear product requirements.
- Experience working closely with pre-sales teams and end customers.
- Familiarity with agile product development methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Background in both SaaS and on-premise ERP delivery models is a plus.
