AI Cloud Takeoff Program Outline
WEEK 1 - WEEK 2
Phase 1
Onboarding & Enablement
This initial phase focuses on building a strong foundation of AI understanding within your organization.
Company Onboarding & Technical Assessment
Duration: 1 week
During this crucial first week, several key activities will be undertaken to set the foundation for your AI journey. You will collaborate with us to define problem statements and map potential AI solutions, identifying how AI technologies can address specific business challenges.
A thorough workflow and data analysis will be conducted to assess existing operational workflows and available data sets, ensuring data quality and relevance for AI implementation.
Initial discussions will also focus on ROI and productivity gain analysis, estimating the potential economic benefits and efficiency improvements from deploying AI solutions. Throughout this week, we will also conduct an initial technical assessment of your current IT infrastructure and existing use cases to understand your specific needs, capabilities, and challenges, thereby laying comprehensive groundwork for subsequent phases of the program.
In-person AI Bootcamp
Duration: 1 week
Your team will participate in an intensive in-person bootcamp focusing on technical enablement, AI/ML best practices, and the establishment of an AI Center of Excellence (CoE) within your organization.
Alongside the bootcamp, dedicated consultation sessions with your partner will help fine-tune and prioritize AI use cases and identify potential business value. This includes setting up a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) training environment.
WEEK 3 - WEEK 8
Phase 2
Solution Design & Planning
In this phase, we will work with you to define a clear roadmap and architecture for your AI initiatives.
Roadmap Development & Use Case Identification
Duration: 6 weeks (Ongoing)
Through workshops with key stakeholders, we will help assess your current state and develop a comprehensive AI roadmap. This process includes the ideation of process and solution architecture design, where potential AI solutions are conceptualized and high-level architectural blueprints are sketched out.
Furthermore, this activity involves detailed requirement mapping for AI solution development, translating business needs into specific technical requirements for the AI model and its integration. We will also facilitate business assessment and feasibility analysis, evaluating the practicality and potential impact of the proposed AI initiatives within your organizational context. This activity culminates in further identifying and prioritizing AI use cases that align with your business objectives and defining high-level AI CoE processes.
Scoping Statement of Work (SOW) & AI Platform Blueprint
Duration: 6 weeks (Ongoing)
This critical step involves defining the detailed scope of work for the subsequent MVP development. You will also work on creating a blueprint for your AI platform, outlining the necessary infrastructure and processes to support your AI initiatives.
WEEK 4 - WEEK 20
Phase 3
Solution Development
This phase is dedicated to the hands-on development and testing of your chosen AI use case.
Solution Development & Fine-tuning
Duration: 4 months (Ongoing)
This activity focuses on the core technical work of building your AI solution. It begins with comprehensive data preparation and prompt engineering, ensuring your data is clean, relevant, and optimally formatted for model training, and crafting effective prompts for generative AI models.
Following this, the team will proceed with solution development and fine-tuning, where the AI models are trained, iterated upon, and optimized for performance, accuracy, and efficiency based on your specific use case.
Finally, system testing and evaluation will be conducted rigorously to validate the solution’s functionality, performance, and reliability against predefined metrics and business requirements.
Solution Customization and Go-live
Duration: 4 months (Ongoing)
This activity prepares your AI solution for real-world application and deployment. It involves solution integration with application development, seamlessly embedding the AI model into your existing systems, applications, or workflows to ensure smooth operation.
This is followed by further model fine-tuning & prototyping, where the solution may be refined based on preliminary testing and user feedback, and prototypes are developed for internal review.
The phase culminates in solution go-live and implementation, where the AI solution is officially deployed into your production environment, marking its transition from development to active use.
WEEK 20 - WEEK 24
Phase 4
Operationalization & Optimization
Operationalize and Optimize
Once the solution developed is successfully tested, the focus shifts to bringing the AI use case into full production. This includes ongoing testing and review, optimizing your AI CoE processes, and planning for future enhancements. The final delivery of consulting services will also occur in this phase.
Future Roadmap & Growth
With a successful AI solution in place, this activity involves expanding the use cases and evolving your AI architecture on the chosen cloud platform. It also includes contract negotiations for AI production to unlock further cloud credits and continued growth of your AI CoE and teams. This phase also includes a post-program survey and review to assess readiness for broader and longer-term AI plans.
