Sales Executive (Data Analytics)

The Sales Executive (Data Analytics) Lead plays a big role in driving strategic and solution selling on large opportunities that are characterized by a complex combination of technical and business issues related to the strategic and tactical direction of customers. You will play a big role in understanding the customer’s business objectives, and the technical components of our solutions, and utilizing a deliberate sales methodology in achieving sales objectives. Sounds challenging? What a day at work for you will look like:

  1. Minimum 2 years experience of selling Business Intelligence / Business Analytics tools.
  2. Have a good understanding of Databases & ETL/ELT tools and process.
  3. Brainstorm and execute lead generating campaigns such as cold-calling, EDMs, seminars etc.
  4. Generate new business through customer visits, cold calling, and follow up on in-coming sales leads.
  5. Oversee and execute end-to-end sales process for designated market segment with the manager.
  6. Prepare and execute the stages of the sales process, including qualification, solution validation, proposal and negotiations.
  7. Create and achieve a sales pipeline to achieve targets set for assigned segments.
  8. Negotiate and manage complex sales-cycles and present to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.
  9. Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers, and Principle Partners, Marketing and Engineering in creating new opportunities.
  10. Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
  11. Demonstrable experience in consulting and IT strategy development.
  12. Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
  13. Demonstrable experience in sales operations and analytics
  14. Customer management leadership skills.
  15. Prepare business proposals, Management slides, MSA, SOW.
  16. Ability to prepare independently without errors and double-checking.
  17. Ability to create solutions.
  18. Ability to negotiate with suppliers.
  19. Ability to present proposals and secure C level interest.
  20. Ability to do it for any product of any service. Multi-product/service or combination solution creation.
  21. Ability to understand procurement procedures.
  22. Ability to source tenders and manage submissions on a weekly basis.
  23. Ability to partner with other SIs for consortium deals.
  24. Sales oriented.

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  1. Have minimum 3 years experience in the database related Sales/Business Intelligence / Analytics related Sales/Projects. 
  2. Possesses great communication, coordination and collaboration skills and the ability to navigate complex matrixed issues.
  3. Excellent leader with strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, & closing skills with prospects or customers.
