Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer is responsible to build technical relationships with prospects and/or existing customers. This position is collaborating with the Sales Team to support them with customer-facing technical pre-sales assistance. Sales Engineer has strong customer communication skills to manage customer’s expectations.

What a day at work for you will look like:

  1. Work hand-in-hand with sales consultants to explore opportunities from the technical perspective, and collaboratively set the opportunity pursuit strategy. Develop the strategy to resolve technical impediments and scoping out migration workloads.
  2. Take responsibility for technical aspects of solutions to include such activities as managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
  3. Work hands-on with products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer/partner environments. 
  4. Assist on Google Cloud Platform and GSuite related administration and support
  5. Assist in technical account management of GCP customers and to continue exploring for further workloads to migrate 
  6. Create system requirements and scope of work for Google Workspace, GCP, Application Development projects
  7. Develop and closure of business to achieve the sales targets assigned.

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  1. Ability to display exemplary communication skills in conveying key messages such as solution scope and value proposition.
  2. Good technical understanding.
  3. Good understanding of latest technology trends in IoT, Cloud, Machine Learning and Business Intelligence.
  4. Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage.
  5. Strong analytical skills to identify the customer needs and solutions.
