The Hardware Sales Executive is an overlay role and will identify, sell and maintain sales relationships within customer accounts in his/her assigned territory. Being in sales environment, you are responsible to build relationships with prospects and/or existing customers. The team need to has strong customer communication skills to manage customer’s expectations.
Job Description:
- Recognize the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the technical specifications of the computer hardware/software offered by the company.
- Investigates new items and make recommendations for purchasing products.
- Checks inventory to ensure orders are in stock.
- Takes orders over the phone and in person.
- Advises customers on technical matters and recommends appropriate computer configurations.
- Solicits information about computer needs from customers.
- Provide technical support after merchandise is purchased.
- Construct sales pitches and presentations.
- Travel to areas where needs are projected.
- Serve as a customer service rep for customers who have questions or difficulties & advise on appropriate user training.
- Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers’ systems and processes.
- Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.
- Brainstorm and execute lead-generating campaigns such as cold-calling, edms, seminars, etc.
- Generate new business through customer visits, cold calling, and follow-up on incoming sales leads.
- Oversee and execute end-to-end sales processes for designated market segments with the manager.
- Prepare and execute the stages of the sales process, including qualification, solution validation, proposal, and negotiations.
- Create and achieve a sales pipeline to achieve the targets set for the segment.
- Achieve sales target.
Requirements:
- Have experience in Sales field for IT strategy development is preferred.
- Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills.
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
