Hardware Sales Specialist

What a day at work for you will look like:

  1. Recognize the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the technical specifications of the computer hardware/software offered by the company.
  2. Investigates new items and makes recommendations for 
  3. purchasing products.
  4. Checks inventory to ensure orders are in stock.
  5. Takes orders over the phone and in person.
  6. Advises customers on technical matters and recommends appropriate computer configurations.
  7. Solicits information about computer needs from customers.
  8. Negotiate price for the sale.
  9. Provide technical support after merchandise is purchased.
  10. Construct sales pitches and presentations.
  11. Travel to areas where needs are projected.
  12. Stay abreast of market trends.
  13. Serve as a customer service rep for customers who have questions or difficulties.
  14. Advise on appropriate user training.
  15. Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers’ systems and processes.
  16. Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.
  17. Brainstorm and execute lead generating campaigns such as cold-calling, edms, seminars etc
  18. Generate new business through customer visits, cold calling, and follow up on incoming sales leads.
  19. Oversee and execute end to end sales process for designated market segment with the manager
  20. Prepare and execute the stages of the sales process, including qualification, solution validation, proposal and negotiations
  21. Create and achieve a sales pipeline to achieve targets set for segment
  22. Achieve sales target
