The Account Manager works with both their clients and their team to ensure the efficient and effective running of their accounts. They clearly understand their clients’ objectives and requirements, the commercial terms of their retained accounts and projects and level of resource required to service the accounts. Account Managers translate quick but creative thinking into decisive action; providing team management, delegation of tasks and exceptional media relations skills.

What a day at work for you will look like:

  1. Manage a team to ensure accounts are successful with PointStar’s products and services
  2. Generate and manage new sales pipeline among current client accounts, including up-selling and cross-selling PointStar’s various products
  3. Forecasts and tracks client account metrics to ensure customer satisfaction
  4. Operates as the point of contact for assigned accounts, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with accounts
  5. Coordinate with team members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
  6. Collaborates with sales and marketing teams for campaigns for current accounts

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

  1. Have minimum 3 years experience in the Sales field for IT strategy development.
  2. Possesses great communication, coordination and collaboration skills and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed issues.
  3. Excellent leader with strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, & closing skills with prospects or customers.

Where you’ll work:

  1. We are all familiar with working from home now. Even if you’re not near our local offices, we’re open to a remote working relationship in this position as long as you can commit with us.
  2. You want to be office based? We got you! Our HQ is in Singapore.
  3. Working hours? We operate within the Singapore time zone.
