Head of Account Management

The Head of Account Management leads and oversees the activities of the entire account management department. Expands and maintains relationships with strategically important and large consumers. Assigned to the highest-value key customers, this role is responsible for assigned strategic account targets and sales quotas.

The Head of Account Management represents the whole spectrum of the business’s products and services to the assigned customers. Leads key account planning and ensures that all assigned customer accounts within the department are catered for and that their needs and expectations are met by the business. Sounds interesting? What a day at work for you will look like:

  1. Manage a team of AMOs in our ASEAN regional team.
  2. Manage a team of AMOs in our ASEAN regional team.
  3. Develop best practice operating strategies, KPIs and team goals together with management. 
  4. Strategic account planning together with your team of AMOs to ensure retention and growth of PointStar’s regional customer portfolio. The plan should include clear revenue and relationship goals, and also lay out the tasks and people required to achieve those goals.
  5. Provide coaching & professional development for AMO team members.
  6. Develop customer success programs together with other relevant departments such as regular business reviews and health checks.
  7. Identify whitespace in customer accounts for upsell opportunities.
  8. Track and communicate goals to the team to drive consistent performance.
